Function description
Additive Industries is growing fast as its metal additive manufacturing system MetalFAB1 is well received in the market. The Operations & Supply Chain team is responsible for the complete global goods flow as well as for cost effective, timely and on-quality delivery of systems and supplies to our customers. In order to further build and lead this newly formed team, we are looking for an experienced hands-on Manager Operations & Supply Chain to join Additive Industries and its Management Team. You are well organised and besides formalisation and certification of the lean internal processes, you are closely involved in implementing a state-of-the-art ERP system that allows us to scale fast. You will also be responsible for our housing and move to a larger premises in 2017.

As a Management Team member, you are co-driving the company strategy and execution of a fast growing high-tech equipment manufacturing company. Our 3D metal printing systems are designed to help our customers like Airbus, GKN and Kaak Group produce high quality parts for aircraft, cars and equipment. The production of these systems is outsourced on a modular level to three strategic partners. Additive Industries is responsible for final integration and testing before the systems are shipped to our customers for local installation and system acceptance. You are familiar with managing an outsourced supply chain in a high-tech equipment environment.

Tasks/responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a successful and performing Operations & Supply Chain team
  • Organise lean operations and housing
  • Oversee the integration of all released products
  • Manage procurement & supply chain (quality, availability, logistics and cost)
  • Implement ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Implement QA system (ISO 9000)

Reporting
The Manager Operations & Supply Chain will report to the CEO

Knowledge and experience
Education:

  • Master in Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration or similar

Experience/skills:

  • Hands-on experience in managing operations in an industrial company, preferably larger than Additive Industries (currently 40+ FTE)
  • Experience in managing a (partially) outsourced supply chain and proven track record in competitive vendor management
  • Proven team management skills
  • Good communicator (in Dutch and English)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is an advantage
  • Successfully assisted, implemented and/or managed ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) and QA system (ISO 9000)
  • Driven by details and control
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
